International Partners

To support CSUSB’s internationalization process, the International Institute is responsible for negotiating, recommending, and administering exchange agreements involving student and faculty exchanges, research collaboration, and related activities. There is a formalized process for reviewing proposed exchange partners. Specific and careful language is included in memoranda of understanding which are submitted to President Karnig for his review and signature. The International Institute encourages and organizes CSUSB delegations to other countries and often acts as the host unit for delegations from foreign universities. The International Institute attempts to stay in regular contact with sister institutions through visits and electronic media.
